acoustic guitar wood guide
What the hell am I looking for in an acoustic guitar?

In particular, the wood used, but I could use a complete guide. I can not recognize the difference, but I am interested in learning, definitely.

Acoustic guitars are difficult to realize due to rolling in recent years some companies have been using and other new techniques and get surprisingly good results. I'm primarily an electric player so my experience is limited. Still strumming a Gibson acoustics, or taylor and listen to the full brightness of the guitar. Now take a cheap Ibanez sounds harsh and bright. very thin resonance and anemic. this is entirely due to the wood used. I like my acoustic guitar over soft, but depends only on his style. The color and grain help identify what type of wood used. Many companies mix and match to get the best compromise between price and performance.
