guitar center drum off 2008

Recording drums can be a challenge for both mics and record. Therefore, we must have a good idea about the techniques that can help us gain a better result. While recording one thing should be noted: if the battery is good, then everything would be perfectly fine. That means everything else can be fixed later and decision will be perfect.

Various microphone techniques really affect how much bass, midrange and treble you hear the sound of an instrument track musical. There are several points to consider when deciding microphone techniques. The choice of microphone placement and distance affect the tools sound recording and the amount of background noise is picked up. But there are no rigid rules about where the microphones should be placed. If the placement of the microphone sounds good to the user, then that should be the correct position for use.

There are several techniques of microphones that can be used in different environments to record drums. We will learn in details. As in the study environment of the house of the most common and most effective way to get perfect sound is to use triangle miking style. This style has three microphones, so-called triangle. The microphone sits on top of the drum, the other side of one of the kit. This method will allow us to capture some of the battery.

Before using the microphone technique we need to know what kind of output sound is preferred, such as whether or Boomy is large and round and soft, or tight or claw? Then, the technique will be different while capturing the sound.

If we want a great sound and Boomy the MIC should be placed about two inches in the head in front of the battery or the head pointed away from the center of the drum. To achieve off a round and the sound of the drum is filled with a large piece of foam. If the position of the microphone is placed so that the runner is impressive tight and powerful sound will be recorded.

But this kind of method has a drawback. Some kind of strange unpleasant will lower average, but could be corrected during post-production. In any case, the microphone should not be placed in any direction within the drum as the sound waves bouncing around eventually cancel themselves, with the loss of volume and tone.

But the techniques of microphone will change when the exchange rate drum. The above technique could only be used for drum shot only. Adjusting the microphone to drummer definitely be different. In order to register this type of drum we need two microphones. But just placing the microphone in front of the battery is not enough. Thus, planning is necessary to decide whether the microphone should be placed. It would be a good idea to place the microphone background exactly the opposite of the micro top. Before recording starts just deliver the microphone on and off and then make a decision on which setting is delivering the perfect sound.
