What is a guitar tablature, or also known as guitar tabs? For a period of 7 days, I took the liberty of doing all the research to provide an easy to understand guide to finally read guitar tabs. Through this article, I will write all my findings and results.
The definition of the tablature in Wikipedia is: Tablature (or tabulature, or tab for short) is a form of musical notation indicating instrument fingering instead of musical pitches. In short, this method is easier to see and understand how to play a specific song.
One point to note is that many instruments have tablatures, not just the guitars, which is a common mistake. For example, fretted stringed instruments like guitar, lute, theorbo, Mandora, gallichon, banjo and guitar all have encryption. But, in principle, can be used for any instrument fretetd.
Come to the point, guitar tablature consists of 6 lines. Each line represents a string of his guitar. The first line of your reprensents thinnest string (High E) on his guitar, and other lines and networks monitoring, which means that the thickest string (low E) is presented through the 6th line.
On each line, there will be numbers. These numbers tell the dishes that you press. If there is a 3 on the 1st and 6th lines, and 2 in the 5th line, then that is G chord, and tells her to play the chord Sol If only one number on one line at a time, then you have to pick up the chain.
Example of a guitar tablature (a random set that includes NO melody).

Guitar tabs are the easiest way to play a song instantly. Just take note on what to press and you’ll be playing in no time. However, learning guitar tabs does not mean you can stop reading musical notes. You can’t play complicated songs if you can’t read notes. Therefore, continue your learning process even after you learnt how to read guitar tabs.
