MUSIC Solway resources-was established in October 2004, is based in the north west of England. It is an operation of multiple layers and provides a range of services. It is run by Brian Melville, a professional educator with experience spanning over thirty years. He is using his experience and involvement in music provide a support service for schools and local community.
Support is available to schools in a variety of disciplines. Classes keyboard is available at all levels from beginner to advanced levels. Guitar instruction is available to any student who requires a solid foundation in the basics before proceeding to more advanced work. Wind instrument tuition is possible, from beginner to intermediate levels, with a large wealth of experience in this area .. Vocal registration is available and delivery to large and small groups within or outside the classroom. Vocal work, which is an integral part supply of music in schools, how much of the work done by Solway Music. At this very moment, a number of schools in Allerdale are participating in a project for Christmas to All, with Solway Music. Composition of work at any level is possible when use of the latest software from the composition. This also relates to the provision of information technology is another area where Solway Music invaluable experience after working for many years in that area. A number of schools in Allerdale are at the time of the beneficiaries of Solway Music experience in all areas that have been outlined.
Register X is a recording device that is part of Solway Music and is available for recording projects large and small. A variety of recording programs available, including Logic Audio, Steinberg Nuendo and Cubase VST. Recording projects can be undertaken "in house" or place. Working with the Virgin and St. Patrick 's Primary School in Maryport, Solway Music in collaberation with Loose Records in 2005 released a CD titled "Mom, I'm here. St.Patricks students presented in 18 tracks of folk songs and proved a great success with pupils, parents and teachers. A recent press release on Loose Records and recorded in the Register of X, is a nursery rhyme CD … "Diddle Diddle Doodle Doo – 22 traditional nursery rhymes and children" songs in a modern setting all sung by Caroline Sweeney. A second album of lullabies is in production at the moment and will appear in 2006. It includes some little issues heard and unusual and again will feature vocalist Caroline Sweeney.
Find a new version in 2006 – "Tokyo Touchdown," which will be an album of compositions ambient jazz original by Brian Melville Loose seal. Also, look for an album of arrangements for sequence dancers add to the album of Christmas songs that was mentioned earlier. You now have two CDs of jazz.
"Interlude" with Caroline Sweeney is an album of standards recorded by Caroline in studio album X.
"All or Nothing" is an album of arrangements by Brian Melville and sung by Ronnie Walker also recorded in register X.

"Swingthing" which is run by Solway Music, is a jazz 4 / 5 Rooms / swing band is available for weddings, parties, functions and corporate events. The band specializes in jazz and swing music in the "Rat Pack "style but is equally comfortable performing in a variety of genres.
